As a buyer or seller, you should be vigilant about protecting yourself from fraudulent buyers and sellers. Fraudulent transactions may result in the loss of your money or item(s). If you are asked to wire money for a deal that seems "too good to be true" or "urgent" you may be a victim of a fraud scam or other criminal activity.
We do not recommend non-local trade (trades that require both parties to ship) as it is one of the most common online scams. There is no guarantee by HopUp or anyone that you will receive your end of a deal in a non-local trade.
Local trade is a better alternative. We recommend you only ever meet at an airsoft field or store and never take an airsoft gun out in public.
If you believe you might be a victim of fraud or to report potential fraud, please contact us and/or report it to your local law enforcement.
